Flathead Head

About to start a 24 stud flathead build, torn between cyclone and eddie meyer heads are the meyer heads worht the price tag?Anyone using Cyclone heads?

if your choices are based soley on asthetics then either of the two heads listed are excellent.... IF in good and usable condition (assuming you buy used).

swapping heads alone wont give you big horsepower gains.

there is little difference in power gains between any of the flathead heads, they are both nice heads... eddie meyer heads will be harder to come by though, not sure Don Orosco is still producing the eddie meyer heads.

 

I think he is last time I checked they where $2200

 

That's more than I paid for my whole car.

 

if you choose eddie meyer heads iam selling a set (59A style) for a fraction of that amount, they will need work but considering the alternative...
