Does anybody make a p***enger side water pump for my 59AB flatty (wide belt) that has a heater hose outlet? I know...I know. I know about the fitting that you put on the lower radiator hose, but that won't work for my application as I have to use very short and curved lower hoses because the water pump inlets and the radiator outlets don't line up.

Or maybe there is another creative way to do this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Andy

Search Skip Haney. He does all the flathead pumps. I'll bet he has what you want.

  5. I've got the Speedway water pumps, and the p***enger side
    has the outlet.

You can also use 49 truck pumps. The mounts are at the same height, wide pulleys and they have the lower heater hose connection.

My heater hose is plumbed off of the upper side of the p***enger head. Is this not a good place to have it?

I think the water pump outlet pumps water
into the heater core and the water goes
back into the right side head inlet.
Please correct me if I'm wrong!

The pumps are creating suction so coolant is pulled out of the top of the head and through the heater core, then back into the bottom of the system via hole in the pump or lower radiator hose.

My p***enger side pump is the one with the port as well, FWIW.

you can also plumb the lower radiator tank ( cool side) for the return they do this on the O/t chevy trucks for several years works great or you can do the return in the top if want to try to keep the water temp down more )
