So my father-in-law picked up a 52 f1 with a flat 8 in it the guy said it wasent running so it got droped off here.....the motor didnt have oil in it so i put 3 qts in it and the motor spun freely and sounded gread just spinning over with the starter but i noticed that it had a fast oil leak so i jacked it up(this is the first flat head ive ever worked on) and took the plate off the bottom of the oil pan and the ring inside was dented enough for me to get my fingers in enough to feel a PIECE of the cam laying on the bottom of the oilpan so i started droping the pan and got all of the bolts on the sides out and the oil pan will NOT BUDGE is there a secret to getting the oil pan out...

And what kind of major problems could be wrong with this motor besides the broken cam

Pull the engine out. You can't fix a flathead with pieces falling out with the engine in the car.

Did you end up with 16 bolts? One go's to a bracket that hold up the back of the starter, is the starter out? Can't imagine how the cam broke unless a valve was stuck bad & somebody towed it to pop clutch start it.
