Technical Flathead Ignition Coil rebuilder? Someone in the Northeast?

    Guys,

    I have a the diving bell helmet distributor on 59A where the coil mounts on top. The coil is in bad shape and looks like it may be the cause of my stumbling issue.

    It seems no one makes a 12 volt version but I have been told you can have yours rebuilt by some guy in the Northeast as 12 volt.

    Anybody know who this is and how to contact them?

  3. HAMB member 'GMCBubba' is pretty reputable around these parts for rebuilding any flathead ignition systems.

    Skip rebuilt the coil in my Sedan and it's been great.

    You are right Skip Haney in Florida is the guy, sending mine to him tomorrow.
