    Hey all,

Just finished tearing down the 8BA and looking to get a good flathead guy to have a look at the block. Unfortunately not something you can just look into the yellow pages for.

Trying not to take it to the big restoration outfits, would rather do it old school and have it in the hands of some flathead fanatic who's been around the block a few times.

So, can any Ontarians out there point me in the right direction? Would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    B

  2. There is a guy in Warsaw, New York that rebuilds flatheads ( about 1 hour from the bridge). His name is Mark Moriarty, he is the best flathead guy in the area. He is rebuilding my motor for my Shoebox now.

  3. Harry Wilson .Belleville, Ontario. Very very exerienced flathead machinist. 613 969 8968.
    Still does several every year.

  5. Bill Wright of Wright Racing engines. He has been building engines for 40 years and even has a bunch of 8BA's kicking around his shop. I think there is a merc there too.

He's in thornhill, in the north end of toronto - 905-881-4939. Tell him Eric sent you.

I don't know if Mr. Hurley is still around or not, north of Toronto someone will know how to get in touch with him. Or Russel Rose in Midland Ontario, Very good when it comes to flatties. He used to rave at Pine crest back in the day and he knows all of the tricks

Len HURLEY is not taking on any new projects from my understanding, I guess this gentleman is finally going to retire.....

I have very good shop down here in Kingston which completed a stroked flathead if you are willing to make a road trip. Hey stop by my shop if you wish..... They also built my 425 Nailhead and 392 Hemi in my drag car..... The motor shop will be relocating to a new building so I cannot give you their new number as of yet, however; I can call the owner at his residence......

    Very reasonable rates !!!!
