I'm helping a friend put a 59AB and 39 trans in his model A. My mock up block is a 8BA without the integrated bellhousing. If I use a truck bell to the 39 will that land my rear mounts in the same place once we get the 59AB back from the builder and install it? I'd like to think it would but wanted to see if y'all knew for sure. Looking to get ahead of things and get the mounts built and everything placed so we can drop in the new drivetrain once it's ready. Thanks!

All I can say is that I have an 8ba in my '39 p/u and the stock '39 trans bolts in the original location.

Good to know thanks! I’m sure I’m overthinking it but at the end of the day the crank and input shaft are all the same spacing so I can’t imagine it changes anything at the bell.
