Technical Flathead problem (again) please help

    ^^^Reduce jet size and power valve size on both carbs.

  2. I have 51 jets and 3.5 PV 's on my stock 21 stud w/two Holleys if that helps....

    ^^^Dick recommended 48 jets and 4.5 PV's. What color are your spark plugs?

    Just came across this thread,- my first thought was incorrect/blown power valve.
    But you stated that carbs were spot on, so I read every post.
    Amazed at what I have learnt from this thread.
    Thanks for posting and giving final results.

    ^^^It's amazing what I've learned from this thread too! It has been a real education. I know a LOT more about flatheads now. I knew this whole flathead thing was going to be a steep learning curve. Just glad for guys on the HAMB who really know their stuff and are willing to share their knowledge.
