Technical flathead should I or shouldn't I

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by wood remover, Mar 3, 2015.

  1. The column shift truck transmission is like a car transmission they don't have a granny low.

  2. The fork is cast in like the 3 rd picture

  3. So I dragged it home , even if I really didn't need it , I will check tomorrow to see if the ****** and bell
    are one .
I am collecting parts to build a 60 horsepower, have a running and rebuilt 60 hp now , so I may just use it .
so far I have found some 60 over pistons , eddie myer heads , an isky track cam , 1940 timing cover
and pumps , still looking for a dual carb intake.

You did good . I know some guys that have bought stuck flatheads ,soaked them , popped them loose then drove them for several years with out any issues .
