ok flatty spe******ts, what spark plugs is everyone using with there aftermarket heads, mine are edelbrock , now i know what they recomend however its gd to hear what u all use, i did conversions for what they recomended with ngk etc , i havent recessed the plug area in head so need something to suit these heads they way they are when i got em out of the box, dont want them sitting in too far or too little if that makes sense for pretty obvious reasons, any advice would be appreciated here, fuel and spark are the most basic yet the most important factors of any engine in my opinion thanks to all

    NGK BP4 from memory.

But you need to check the depths of your threaded area as I have a few sets of finned heads and they alter, so you would need to change to a different plug for some of them. NGK has a good website that will break down the designation of the plugs so you can work out what will work best for you, as far as heat range depth, shrouded or unshrouded electrode etc.

I have Weiand 8BA heads on my motor, You will find its difficult to look at US plugs and convert them to Aussie ones as our numbers are different. I tried this with my olds motor and it near drove me crazy, in the end I just looked at the plug that was in the motor and used the NGK website and broke the plug down to what I needed.

    good luck.
