   So I have 1942 flathead ford v8 with a shot starter. We have an old 337 ford flathead and the starter looks good. They look almost identical. Are they interchangeable?

   I know the 337 is a bigger engine.Maybe ask on Fordbarn,and ck the for sale here and there.
