My buddy bought a ford and his steering column sits too high. I am ***uming the steering box needs to be changed but it seems like as the column drops down into place, it will interfere with the pedals.

The angle looks too steep, I'm guessing they moved the steering box back to clear the engine. It's tight fit leaving the steering box in the stock location, the angle on the steering wheel is off in the pictures. I'm running an early 50's F1 steering box with a modified mount located in the stock location and it comes up between the stock pedals with no problem.

File the holes, trim the floor, rotate it down, lengthen the drop, screw the drag link a little shorter, and drive.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, I just did a quick look but it seems like it is going to hit the pedals, no room! I'll have him send me a picture.
