Hot Rods Flathead top hoses

    Setting up my flathead on an engine test stand. Radiator has just one top inlet and the flattie requires two. Can the motor's two top hoses be Y connected into the rad's one inlet without causing overheating or whatever? Engine will be limited to idle with and a few occasional bursts. Thanks.

    Why not add another outlet to the rad? An experieced welder should be able t help ya out.

    How big are the inlet/outlet pipes on the radiator? Those two water pumps move a lot of water. It's not hard to modify the rad with extra inlet/outlet pipes, a rad shop would probably do it for you fairly cheap.
