I have 1953 ford flathead v/8 that I installed power disc brakes on. I have slight hesitation when opening the throttle. I put a timing light on it when I open the throttle. I see no change in the timing with the light. Any suggestions?
If you have a stock distributor, you're not going to see any advance with this system. Not enough flow through the venturi to activate the advance with no load on the engine. Probably need to increase accel pump stroke.
