Flathead

This is my flathead in a 29 roadster landspeed record holder. The motor is 289 cu in. w/4" crank. Radiued lifters and one off cam furnished by Crane. As you can see in pictures It has fourth exhaust out the top and vertex mag. Have run three carbs and the hilborn but like the hilborn best. Use to run high compression heads but change to 5 to 1 heads like the old harleys. Picked up 9 mile per hour when droped compression and let it breath. Run electric hot water pumps from motor home (12 volt). $ speed top loader and 8" rear. Thanks Bill
