Hi members of the HAMB DG here from Fl. I lost my Dad last year and was lucky enough to get his old Flathead. Problem is I've never built one. Dad drag raced it in the early fifties down here in a belly tank then later put it in a 31 A roadster. He started having babies and couldn't finish his dream. But he kept the engine around for over 56 years after I was born. The numbers on the bell housing are H19622 with 59 under that and L under the 59. It's been bored and stroked to what I have no clue. Wieand three pot manifold with 97"s and Eddie Meyer Hollywood heads. I really want to get it running and find an A to put it in. Help IDing the engine first and then, Where do we start? Am I in the right section? Let me navigate this sight and I'll try to post up some pics.
