Hello everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself on here. I’ve read many posts on here along my flathead build I’ve been working on. I finally decided to make an account and reached out to Tubman to buy one of his world famous condensers as I have tried every else online I could find and 99 percent of them are ****. Just wanted to send a thank you to him as he is very kind and professional. I have a 48 super deluxe that’s about 90 percent original. I’m still running on the original 6 v positive ground. 1 owner car I dug out of a barn in the hills of Pennsylvania about a year ago. It had been sitting in that barn since 1990 when the original owner p***ed away. His daughter finally decided to sell some of his things so I got lucky enough to purchase it. I replaced basically what I had to to get the car running and driving again but anything that wasn’t broken or worn out I left alone, most of the wiring in this car is still factory and works. My main issues have been with coil and condenser as the car tends to not want to start when hot. I’ve used Napa , standard, and Dennis carpenter coils and condensers. Also several voltage regulators. Now I’m going for a Tubman condenser and a flamethrower 1.5 ohm coil to see how she likes that set up. If anyone on here has had success with this set up let me know. I always appreciate comments and feedback. Thanks everyone for your time .
