Was lucky enough to trade for this '46 59a that came out of a '36 coupe that was last tagged and driven in 1954 and stored since then! It has a Harmon Collins dual coil distributor and adjustable lifters, so it might even have a little cam. Clean as a whistle inside, doesn't look like it has many miles on it either. Put an Edmunds intake on it for fun, but this this thing is gonna get the full bling treatment before it goes in my '36!
Here's mine. '53 Merc. .040 over, ported, relieved, Isky 400jr. cam, Johnson adj, lifters, old homemade 2X2 Dirt Track intake, Stealth 94's. Should be fun. Kevin Ooltewah Speed Shop
What the heck is that thing in? Seems late model? ****, I may have answered my own questions. I go sit down now.
51-ish Plymouth? (I've been looking for a 50-ish business coupe) I have two V8 flatties now, and two more on the way (one an 8EQ). None really worth looking at. Oh, and two IH flat 6's....still not pic worthy, lol.
this is mine, 59A motor. It's a nasty little motor, won the Real Mill award at Billetproof Detroit last year.
Saw your post about the cracked flathead blocks. Are you aware that in some cases they can be welded? John Worden
Here is the one in my 34 5 window 3 3/8" by 4" stroke, edmunds heads, holley 390 cfm, chevy dist. all hooked up to a c4 automatic. Darrell
I was thinking of painting the '51 8ba that i pulled this weekend saftey orange to match a set of '35 Ford wheels I have on my coupe. This looks real close. Thanks for the inspiration!
