    Well I did a search for the great flathead and really didn't turn up much. I know a bunch of guy and gals are running them.. So let's see them:D .. I'm getting ready to toss one in a 31 Vicky and trying to decide to Soup Her Up or keep her in Stock clothing..
    Sp please tell us about it and what goodies your running

    Merc crank .060 over, Mild Isky cam, Offy 400 heads, ported, mild relief,
    (valve pocket transfer area only), balanced, adj lifters, Mallory electronic.

    here is my old beater ! been floging on this motor since 91, I hate to touch it ? it run`s so good ! ran a 16.15 at the last drag race , and go`s well over 110 on the highway , came out of a 51 merc that was rebuilt with only 500 mile`s on it . flathead`s still rule the earth !

    i like this shot of Buicks38 ( jerry's ) flattie in his roadster, i lifted the pic from the hemmings website coverage of the gathering of the faithful show. even though the pic doesn't show much of the flathead, it show's enough. :D mike

    This one's going in my '34 truck this summer. Probly run stock heads for now. Those shiny ones are expensive.

    Here's a few pics of mine....three 97's on an Offy manifold, Isky #88 Cam, Adjustable Johnsons, Dual Point Mallory,.....like that.....hooked to a '39 three speed top shifter, torque tube and banjo soon to have 3.54 gears in it! Flat-Power!

    No current pics of the motor, but I've got this... my motor is mostly stock, .030 over, 2110 Holley, MSD ignition, Red's headers.
