  4. Man, alot of cool stuff on this thread!

Montechris........yes, I built the headers. This car was a very low budget project so I just used some exhaust tubing I scrounged and some U bends left over from some other project. I have some baffles in there but they don't do much. I need to work on them a little.

Stocker. Rebuilt this 5 years ago? blur. anyway a boat was owning my life and I have to say this little engine kept me sane and attached to what we love. It was free with a truck that someone on here bought for a 12 pack ;) Those summer evenings learning these engines was a lot of fun. Just not my thing as big hp is more readily available. They are IMHO the nicest looking engines next to the hemi's, especially like those posted here. I must have done OK because I sold it to a guy in the Netherlands and received no complaints :) Know what? wish I had kept it.

and. That fuel block!!! talk!!! please...as was said, a work of art.

  15. The fuel block is made from the handle of a tailpipe sniffer from an old Sun tune up machine. There was a thread about it on here a long time ago, does anybody have a link? I used it because I liked the ray gun look and it was a low buck way to get some finned aluminum on my low budget rpu. It really gets people guessing.

Going on what you've achieved so far with your re-birth, I spose you're in a position to call me anything!

With the money I've spent on it I wish I stuck with a couple of old leaky 94's. Thanks for not bagging me senseless.

  24. As somone who owns a flathead with a couple of leaky 94's, I'm sure you will be much happier in the long run!!!

Thanks Danny, my wife feels a whole lot better now!

It won't make Goulburn but hopefully I'll have it finished for the next Nationals in Geelong - you can drive. Oh, and it's on airbags so it shouldn't be too......BROOTAL:eek:

Flower's .040" over 8BA, with a little Isky cam & kit, otherwise just balanced and blueprinted. The heads and intake are powder coated.
