    I think it's a load of junk - send it to me & I'll dispose of it for your friend. Tell him to quit wasting his time - I've got a nice SBC to trade. ;) :D

    The motor has not been started yet, but it has been gone thru and will run...he still has more paint work and fab to do to it:) It will be going in an OG Steel 32 Five Window Coupe.

    Is that a Vertex magneto, or the Taylor solid state unit that's a look-a-like? I would really like to put the look-a-like on my Hiboy, but I'm a firm believer in a combination of mechanical and vacuum advance ignition on a street car.
    And so far Taylor doesn't make one with mech and Vac adv. just mech.

    What bore/stroke combo did he use?
    Also, what sort of carb linkage is planned for that 4 x 2 ? I'd imagine some sort of progressive.
