Back to the Bricks is an excellent, well attended, well organized, FREE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS, car show. This includes what they call a 'Rolling Cruise', where we saw more burn outs than at the drag strip. A big congrats to the organizers and volunteers who put this show on. Just took a few pictures of some of my favourites, including cars with HAMB plaques, sorry I don't know who the owners were.

Back to the Bricks is a great show. The Nightmares CC has been there since the very first year. Its one of the best shows we go to. Always a good time.

I've seen alot of people who used to go to Woodward showing up at this event. It's alot less of a "madhouse" and the atmosphere is alot more laid back.

the Fat Chick Pick Plymouth, is a friend of mine Forrest Fickes. He does not have a computer, so no way he knows about the hamb. I'll have to tell him I saw it online.

I was going to go with him, and Mitch (flamed 46 Ford near him), bt could not make it. The green two tone Cutlass next to him is also a friend.

Had fun......way too hot and muggy. The Caddy rooled all week long, often times with 6 or more people in it.

  7. FH-Pete,thanks for the pics;sorry to say that I didn't make it down there and therefore didn't get pics to add(They would have been of mostly Mopars anyway...)which is lame on my part. I was at a first-time vintage snowmobile show Saturday that some friends put on out in Montrose;took two of my babies out there to show support for their efforts.
Well, deals for the bike and one of the sleds both fell through just recently,so no $$ to chase an old B-body with;maybe next year,my sorry azz will be parked on the bricks as well. It might be in primer,it might not be purty, but I still plan on having some ol' Dodge or Plymouth in my garage and hopefully rollin' down the road. I'm still young enough to pursue dreams!

Thanks for the pics. Hopefully next year I won't be plumbing (house) radiators and can attend.

People give me endless crap for saying this, but I kinda like downtown Flint. I cruised past the Durant-Dort factory the last time I was there and really felt like I was driving through history.
