Too bad that's impossible with a real Roots blower.

 

Are you still rebuilding 1939 Ford transmissions ? I'm very interested in one...most of what I see for sale, I do not trust. Sorry about contacting you this way...but it was the only way I could find. Take Care....Tom

 

Funny. I did exactly this on my '39 Ford when I was a teenager. It was mounted to the interior kick panel. Then I realized most people couldn't figure out how to start it anyway. They could turn the key all day. And, they probably never learned to drive a stick either. Took it out.
