Customs Flippin' the lid on my Packard

I sold it to a guy in Arizona a couple of months ago. He has'nt sent me any update yet.

The story goes, the guy who bought it, stripped out the straight 8 (which ran beautiful) trans and rear. He put in a 9" and set it up for a big block Chevy. the project then stalled for a couple years and he tried to off it on Ebay. He paid 6500 for the car and had it shipped to Arizona, his bids never got over 2300 as it was just a shell by then. As of about a year ago, I heard a guy had rescued the car, located the drive train and was finishing it. I think its still in Arizona or possibly Nevada...

 

This thread is an oldie but a goodie. Any updates on this awesome Packard?

Unfortunately Peanut 1959, I've not heard or seen anything about her fate in the last few years

I know this is an old thread, but I just read your thread regarding this car on Packardinfo.com Wow. That's all I gotta say about them. I was going to register with that site, but decided against it. I don't need that kind of criticism regarding my car (picked up a 50 Super 8 Touring Sedan yesterday).
