Very cool. Just checked my most recent Offenhauser catalogue and the Flathead Super Dual intake that was $43 in the So-Cal book is now $695 and a pair of early style heads has went from $72 to $1758. I'm sure the rodders in those days had just as much of a struggle affording the parts back then as we do today? Love those vintage catalogues.
I bought a 1970 Speedway Motors catalog at a swap meet last year, and even that was amazing. The prices blow you away, but the selection of parts that are still sought after is cool too.
Very interesting, thanks. For those not fortunate enough to have a real one (me), look here: https://myflatheadford.com/product/1949-so-cal-speed-shop-catalog-digital-pdf-copy/

There are less expensive options than this one. It's just an example. Andy
Some years back, Keith Rucker over at the Vintage Machinery website posted a video about how he scans old catalogs. In the video description he also provided a link to a site dedicated to DIY scanner setups. https://diybookscanner.org/
