Florida show scene?

hey cfish. I agree totally the scene has gone behind the scenes due to everybody with big money these days (or credit) gone are the days when we hung out anywhere on any nite and enjoyed talking about this and that. I am only 31 myself and miss the car club boom in the 90's where we used whatever we had to make things custom without spending huge amounts of money, but we put on car shows and charity events easily and still took a couple of bucks to support the show and still give enough to the cause. One thing that I wanted to say is create your own outings, its really not that hard. I think you can find some people on here and that drive around town and will be willing to hang out on a dedicated nite at least once a month, and make appearances at shows. The one thing to do is find a charity that you like and tell them that you would like to put on a show and shine. get started small. or stay small. Most charities have no problem if it brings them some attention to the cause. Advertise free on here and craigslist and you are bound to find people willing to help, including me and my friends. good luck man. Here's an idea tho what about finding a park like they do in cali and just show up and have people with cool cars to bring food and get a chance to show and shine and talk cars, get a list started, use craigslist like i said earlier and use this website to get a sign up sheet going.
