The point is simple: I don't like the flush door, especially now with the hinges poking out. I don't care if your body is 'glas and I don't care if your car runs a Hemi and I admire the craftsmanship you're putting into it. And, it's your car, you can do what you want. But, you asked for opinions and I am offering mine.

There's no need to continue, this is your thread about your build,so carry on.

Good point....I never thought of that!! Maybe this will improve with the 32 frame though.

This isn't anywhere close to a stock Model A, body, ch***is, anything, so I think my efforts are well spent.

Carry on. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

PS- Do yourself a favor and don't rest your arm over the rear body/door gap.....

One never knows. It didn't do much on my '30 Roadster though. But if he leaves the gaps big enough he should be fine. It'll be cool no matter what happens. Hot Rods aren't supposed to be easy, prissy, or perfect. Contrary to what some may opine.

  6. I like it. I dont think I would do it but in your case you had to change those weird doors anyway. Bet you still get roadster pinch tho ;) I like how you are using the leftovers from the wagon

It’ll give you such a pinch! I learned that with my ‘27!

  9. It's fibergl*** and wood. Not really a car it's a replica of a car, my real 29 has the doors bolted shut so you have to hop over and the door overlap keeps the wind out while you're flying down the road, well there is the issue of all the wind coming over the windshield.
You should do what you want, you own it.

  10. Reminds me of the guy that found an inexpensive bronze prop at a yard sale, he ended up building a boat around it.

My wife bought a shower curtain she liked and then we redid the entire bathroom to match. It's nice, though, I don't mind.

Go on... (I was going to say, “No ****, **** Tracy, where’d you leave you squad car?”, but in this day if messages without context, that could come off as rude). [emoji23]
