Memorial/Armed Forces day Fly In at the Giddings Lee Country Airport.
Memorial/Armed Forces Day Car show at Giddings Firemen's Park (1000 yards to the east of the airport)

I wanted to extend an invite to ya'll for our Memorial/Armed Forces day Fly In at the Giddings Lee Country Airport.
There will be a car show about a 1000 yards east of the airport at Firemen's Park. All cars are welcome!!

Anyone with former military vehicles (or military looking vehicles) Will set up at the airport.

I am expecting several Commemorative Airforce Aircraft (P51D, P39, P63, AT6, Zero, L17B, B25 "Yellow Rose" and many more) to attend along with other aircraft. Some of these aircraft are also giving rides for a nominal fee! Its your chance to fly in a real war bird!

Active Duty military helicopters will also be attending, along with a fly over of few active duty fixed wing aircraft.
Helicopter rides will be available as well!! (sadly not free tho)

It is Saturday May 19th, I would ask that all aircraft/cars be parked with engines off by 1100 am, and remain off until 2 pm, as there will be spectators on the ramp checking out your pride and joy!
Examples of some aircraft that will be attending
