Washington State Flying Dutchman Car Show.

hey folks. I'm trying to start something that might be kindof fun, which I like to call a flying dutchman car show.

it's not so mutch a carshow, as it is more of a hotrodders meet and greet.

the idea is to set up a month or so in advance through H.A.M.B, and word of mouth (maybe flyers if you want to get really ambitious) pick a place like a public park or large parking lot. and get as many hotrodders together (with their fords, chevys, mopars, and other rides) as possible. hang and b.s. for a while, get aquainted, then maybe go for a cruiz, and end up somewhere cool for a bite and a beer. no regestration, no fees/cover charges, no trophies. just cool people, cool rides and a good time.

I say "Flying Dytchman" because the "show" pops up anywhere, and without notice (to the general public).

the only rules I can think of is, not to make an *** of ones self, there by giving our kind a bad name.. and not to be an inconvience to anyone else(i.e. takeing over the parking lot of a privatly owned/small buisness, without giving them our buisness)

I'm not going to be trying to take credit for the name of this, so feel free to spread the word, and set one up wherever you live. think of it as a hot rodders flash mob.

anyway i think it sounds like fun. and will be setting one up in lewis county, washington soon. Id like to hear your opinions on this, and especially from those of you who live close to me, who may want to participate.
