History Flying the flag today?

Mine flies everyday of the Year ! It bothers me that there are only a total of two flying in our block today which is actually two blocks long. My neighbor to the North and myself, that's it.
Seems wrong to me ! I do have a "All Weather Flag".

yes you are right, and its the law to have it under light at night! but no one enforces it. and yea i have a huge spot light on mine with a photocell to turn it on when im not home!

 

I fly my DAD'S flag... he p***ed in '98.

 

I have to go and take mine down now the sun is going down and my flag is not lit.

I was born in Italy in 1960.... Moved to Australia in '61 then finally here to the United States in '71 when I was a 10 year old. And yes! I do fly the "colors" on every American holiday! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend!

 

Yep flying one that was flying at an fob in Afghanistan. And my neighbors know that the crazy old white guy on the block is an AMERICAN and proud of it.
