anyone familiar with these guys? i saw their ad in the new OSR mag. from their site, they build so cool looking bikes. i wanted to get peoples input as to whether or not their legit, good quality, etc. i would like to purchase their "Bobber" model. thanks guys.
It's EvilFordCoupe (Jason) that runs the joint. And Outlaw (Tyler) is his right hand man. Both guys are on here and Kontinentals at that. They are very legit. Cool bikes at a low $$$. Give 'em a call with any questions about details on the bikes and so on. Jason's even from the left coast.
I know them personally and have been to their shop. Both the old small shop and the new bigger shop, that should tell you they are doing well because they make a quality product. Give them a call and talk to them. If you can take a trip to Austin and look around their shop they have open doors for hot rodders and bikers. If I didn't like 4 wheels so much, I would probably have a Flyrite myself. TZ
Evil Ford Coupe and Outlaw build some kick**** scooters, they are Kontinentals, that in itself should tell you they are a class act. Damn nice traditional rides at any price but they are very reasonably priced. Hopefully in next couple years I can buy one.
Again, These guys are great and build some excellent machines. You will not be disappointed. RASHY
Jason is 100% legit. Seems too good to be true, but it's for real. some of the cleanest bikes around. Highly suggest snaggin one.
thanks a lot for your input guys. i really do appreciate it. i really want one of these, so i'll have to give them a call and see what they can come up with. to be honest, i don't know how to ride a motorcycle, but there's always a first time for everything. Harpoon, i'm sure you could do one hell of a job with it. i'll keep you in mind. thanks again.
133, I've been drooling over their bikes ever since I've know them. The quality is excellent and what you get for the money is unbelievable. I'll buy my next scooter from Flyrite.
133- I had the pleasure of staying with them for 5 days (EvilFordCoupe and his lovely wife). They are really nice and their bikes are really good. The only thing stopping me from buying one is that I am a chickenshit. My wife said "go for it!" but I have cojones the size of BB's because of my lack of riding skills. But the bikes are gorgeous. You won't be sorry. Travis
The only flaw is that they seem to only use RevTech engines (which I personally don't like), but if you talk with them, I'm sure they can put a Optima, H&L, Merch, S&S or other engine in there. Then again, you may not have strong convictions about engines like I do. I've heard good things about their bikes however. You can get something a little bit different than the $30k choppers that all the accountants are fighting over. I definately like their style and options...and the fact that you can get into one for a fair price.
Man them Kats is legit, I've loved there bikes since Outlaw told me he was gonna start working there. Great bikes, great people, what more can ya ask fer...
Jason is as stand up as a************* could be. I have known him forever and he is one of the few people who trully makes his dreams a reality... And I am sure he'll tell you that the Revtechs are good motors, but get a bad rap because of their low cost and ease of availability. think of them as the small black chevy of the harley set.

[/ QUOTE ] haha...funny cuz that's what I have in my Rambler....a 355 SBC. The only reasons the RevTechs get a bad rep in my book is: 1. they're Korean-made and 2. they've had some consistency/reliability issues It's really a moot point and I can argue the case till I'm blue in the face but in the end, it's just a personal preference. I have a buddy with a RevTech that runs really well...100" motor. It's strong and way fast. I'll just re-state that if I get another new bike, FlyRite will be one of the people I go to if I can have a different motor thrown in. It's a classic-type of style that is timeless and represents what riding a bike is about....having a bad-ass bike that hurls you through the wind.
Ditto what every one here said! (except buzzards gay fantasies) They are a top notch shop in every way!

Jason's a great guy as already stated - I'm in line for one myself, and they actually offer several motor options...not just RevTech. Tyler's a pretty good kisser.
He never calls because he....I didnt want to say it...he has a problem. A deep, dark problem. This pix should sum it up.......
I've never been so thirsty for beer at 8:59am in the morning. Thanks, now my friday is gonna take FOREVER...
Jason is a heck of af a guy. Any time I have a question or just want to tell them I'm diggin' what they're up to, he always responds promptly. The guy's at Flyrite are onto something. Cool, simple scoots for a reasonable buck. The only thing that'd be better is if you did it yourself. And man, that custom bike they did is****s. Only 20K too. Not too bad in the world of 75k cookie cutter customs.

Met my wife about 3 years ago and she's down with the hot rods but everytime I look lustfully at a 2 wheeler she says "no motorcycles." And I really want a bike especially with gas prices hitting close to $2.40 in so cal.
