Stephen from the great pacific north west Hi, I'm trying this forum mainly to find some information on the dodge 270 hemi. We just got three of them. They are a cute little motor, three inches shorter than the sm blk chevy. I know there won't be real big hp, but is it good to build as a driver? We have a nice dodge royal lancer (ran when parked), really? I hope it starts right up. We have one motor with a broken crank. We are kinda chevy, but now have four mopars, soon two more... I have been learning the Chrysler ftathead, putting the 265 cu in in the 51 Chrysler. I've read the 270 hemi has a forged crank with no harmonic balancer. Is there a fix? Thanks for making it through this.
