Been building custom bikes for quite a few years. After a bad trade, on my part, a near complete bike for a 62 Cadillac Sedan Deville. I was bitten by the bug. Bagged it, shaved it, and updated the drivetrain to an LS1/4L60 combo (yeah, non-trad., sorry). Still wasn't satisfied though. I was diggin' the 60's era Chevy trucks and needed a shop truck. Scored a 66 suburban and doing bits and pieces here and there. Hot 383 former circle track motor, shaved and soon to be completely bagged. Lovin' them both cruise the***** outta the Caddy but still wasn't satisfied. Met a dude who was sportin' a cool**** 34 Ford RPU done traditional. Bit? Way of an understatement! Walked straight over to the swap area and picked up a 9" and F1 front axle. Car/Truck started in my mind. Found a 29 Fordor and horse traded for it. Not too knowledgeable of this era and possibly over my head. Just picked up my dream car. A 54 Ford, chopped, shaved, decked, nosed, and has 49 Mercury rear quarters. Also has frenched bumpers, headlights, and Mercury tailights. I'm planning on going full steam with this one! Nothing stopping this one. Looks almost as if the cars have taken over the shop and bikes are falling to the wayside. Well, that's it for now.
