I just joined the H.A.M.B. a few days ago. I'm an old guy by most standards, nearing my mid-60's, but am a hot-rodder at heart and love my rides.

I have a 1955 Chevy 210 Club Coupe (Delray), powered by a 327. I'm also in the early stages of building a 1948 Ford F1 which will sit on a S10 Chassis and will also be powered by a 327. I know that there are a lot of purists out there who will chastise me for not sticking with the flattie that it came with, but like what I like.

I am a software engineer by trade, but the engineer discipline is or should be in all engineers. As such, I am not satisfied to take just one person's advise, instead I seek the best advice, though that isn't necessarily the consensus. If I ask the same questions over and over in a thread it is because I am seeking the best advise... I know that it is out there waiting for me.
