Already posted a few and missed the intro, oops. Been into hotrods for ever, but never had the time or money to finish anything. I started with a boat(still working on) Then got sidetracked with a shoebox a few years later But my real love is drag racing. I have been working on nitro cars for 12 or 13 years now. I am part of a great team that has been together forever, and when we can't run, we go help other people together. I have done the bottom end on a number of cars over the years, mostly nostalgia top fuel and a couple of funny cars. So needless to say, my stuff always gets put on the back burner. But I have spoken with a couple of guys on here that have already given my a nudge in the right direction, so hopefully I will have some cool stuff to post soon. Oh, I just picked this up too.., Hey you can never have too many projects...right? So many projects..so little time
Clarification, I have acquired all of this stuff or the last 15 years and have done work on them off and on when I get time. The model A was one of those "once in a lifetime " buys, to which I couldn't pass up. I got it a few months ago. I should have finished something instead of buying another project. Oh well! So many projects..so little time
PONYBOY, spent a lot of time down there as a kid. My grandma lived right down the road from the harbor, in Wilmington off Figueroa right of PCH if I remember right. Good times, maybe I will shoot a cruise down there one day in the coupe for old times sake. So many projects..so little time
i know, i see that all time, "central ca." i used to live in porterville and i would always say "porterville" even though i was ashamed. just say it. say where you're from. do you think we're going to go drive by your house and borrow tool or use your bathroom? although i do kinda have to go...
