The rules said I needed to post an intro up here, so here it goes. My name is Nik and I live out here in the land of rust free sheetmetal. Growing up in Illinois I thought that cars came from the factory with cancer. Who knew? Anyway, I'm 35, married with 3 kids and I sell liquor and wine for a wholesale distributor. If any of you guys are ever in the area, look me up as I always have Jack Daniels on tap in my shot machine. Most of my life I've played with 60's and 70's cars, but am finally seeing the light and am looking forward to finally latching onto some real vintage tin. Nik
Welcome, from a former new mexican. I lived in alamogordo for about 15 years. I still have family in alamogordo, las cruses, and hagerman. There is still a lot of vintage tin in nm to be found. Good luck
thanks for the welcome. Who is your family in Hagerman? I had a place there when I covered Roswell and Artesia. You're right about the amount of tin out here, unfortunetly everyone else seems to be finding out about it too. Nik
LOL It's amazing how being in the booze business can increase your circle of friends. All of my customers and friends knew that if I was coming to the party there would be no shortage of liquid refreshments. When I come over it's not with a bottle or two, it's more like a case or two. Nik
Hello Nick! Welcome to the HAMB. Thanks for the invitation. I love the Southwest, warm, and dry(most of the time). I hope to travel there someday, and I'll drop in for sure.Sparky
welcome Nik from the southern part of NM. there are a couple of guys on here from NM. i live in Las Cruces. see ya around! Travis
Hey Travez, I'm in LC every once in a while to teach. Last time I was over there they had a decent little car cruise going on that started at the Mesilla Valley Best Western. Unfortunetly I had to do a cl*** and couldn't participate. Nik
