    Hello from New Hampshire,

Been looking at the board for a while now and finally joined a few months ago. Only 1 project car and that should have been on the road 2 years ago. 1950 Chevy Fleetline. Just don’t have the free time I used to. It currently has a 235 in it and I am looking for a later model similar inline 6 to install. Not planning on heavy modifications. This will become my daily driver eventually. Easy to repair and NO @#!*&## electronics.

I really don't know the year of the engine itself. When I got the car the engine and tranny were not in it. The 3 speed transmission was in one piece, but I just got 1 block assembly (block, pistons, and crankshaft) with a CRAPLOAD of other parts. 2 heads, many rocker assemblys, literally 25 pushrods. etc ad nausium..... I was able to put 1 engine together and it does run and move. My guess is that it is pre 55. There are only front, bellhousing and transmission mounts to the frame. No side of engine motor mounts. Not sure what year they started that. I reassembled this engine to see if it worked. I really want a known good engine to rebuild properly.

Im not 50 anymore, but I am still and Old Buzzard
