Hi, my name is Big D from Lancaster Pa, I've been a motorhead since back in the 60s, always had hot street cars just got side tracked a little over the years. I 'm building a 27 T with a 8BA Flathead,I have always wanted a hot rod ever since I was a kid and seen them so I;m going to drive this car if they have to prop me behind the wheel and tow me down the goddam street. I also have a 1972 Triumph TR6 motorcycle. Glad I found this web site, happy to see hotrodding is alive and well on the H.A.M.B.
Looking to meet up this summer, thanks for the welcome, Big D PS< I'm only 15 miles south of Reading.
Hi from Reading, just down the pike. Lots of Keystoners here - maybe we can get together sometime. Dave
Welcome, nothin' better than a "T" with a flattie. Come to think of it, nothin' better than "anything" with a flattie. Any pics?
Welcome from a mis-placed central PA HAMBer! My 'rents are still up there. If you ever see a black flamed '50 Merc cruising around, that's my pops. -Duck
They always said Flatheads Forever, I just hope I can keep remembering how we used to work on them without having a brainfart, talk to ya later, BIG D
Hey Duck, Thanks for the welcome to the H.A.M.B., I'm sure I'll be talking to you latter, see ya BIG D
You heard the old saying: A street rod has a chevy up front and a can of wax in the trunk, a hot rod has a flathead up front and TOOLS in the trunk, thanks for the welcome from down under, talk to you later, BIG D Soon as I get the photos back I'll scan them and send you a thread with a photo
