Just bought a 1953 Customline (won't get if for about a week)
Bought it to get my son involved and something for him to drive. (Lucky spoiled kid... Wish I had a dad like me.

I'll try to figure out posting pics.

First project will be to lower. Thinking Aerostar springs and some blocks in rear.

Welcome to the group! The Aerostar springs are GREAT and very easy to do. Check the thread in our group for a step-by-step with pics. Your son is gonna have a blast!

Thanks a million Jeff! That's mighty kind of ya. It's funny, stuff like that (the aforementioned) is a piece of cake for me, but I'm just a rookie when it comes to mechanics and such. I really appreciate everyone's advice (and patience) here- priceless, fellas!

Thanks alot. Looking forward to this. A bit nervous buying a car without actually seeing it in person and just going off pictures and talking to the guy.

Welcome to the group, this place is the best for advice on anything that you are doing to the car. I pretty much use this as the main go to for all my questions. I hope your online car buying is better than mine was, I had no idea about the mess that I would end up in but its been the most rewarding frustration that I've had in a while.
