Vortek in my F100 looks like some newby, but I've got an Olds for it, a 455 dressed up in old Moon valve covers, and some other trick shit, gonna plant it by Christmas. '27 Hiboy all apart, so's my '27 hiboy tub. '54 Ford Coupe's getting gasserized, new 406, 3-spd toploader w/Jeep tower, REAL floor shift!!! Tube front axle, narrow 9", gutted, not a 'sleeper' any more. Lodi drag strip (Northern CA.) will run again in May! A bunch of us hot rod (roadster types) are building gassers for this event. How do I kick the "fng" thing? Thought this was a Harley...

To answer your original question, to get rid of the "FNG" monniker you gotta post replys and/or start new threads. In other words participate. The other way is to become an Alliance Member, which is what I intend to do as soon as my credit cards recove from finishing my roadster. LOL. But dont listen to me, all of the court documents and medical professionals say I am nuts.
A guy your age and with so many great cars should have A LOT to teach us whippersnappers! Post some pics of your rides, if you have a digital camera. If not, a decent one isn't much over a hundred bucks. Next time you do a modification on a rod, snap photos and to a TECH article. The best part of the H.A.M.B. is when guys with experience shed a little light for us neophytes.
Antwater Mike, Be patience and after a hundred cool posts the FNG tag will go away or become a alliance member. I think the FNG tag isn't necessary at all, it just shows a lack of respect for others. There are just a lot of clowns who think jumping on a new person is fun. You've seem to have a lot of cool rides going on, keep up the good work. There are about a 1% representation of assholes on the HAMB, so be ready to firer back if necessary. If tags are going to be used lets have a FOG tag....... Ingenious axle undertaking here...frame is very sophisticated, well thought out. Evil put me onto another HAMB-Bone, (Rat Boy) and I closed a deal for all the sheet metal for my F-1. Right here in Atwater City! All my Rowdy Friends live here in town...but they ain't settled down...
