I live in Tucson AZ, moved here from Illinois. Come from a long line of mechanics going back to 1920s...before that the men were blacksmiths. I am a historian as well as a maker of historically correct military equipment from the 18-19th century. Authenticity is something I strive for in my cars as well. My current build to be started in the next month or so will be a 1955 Ford powered by an engine done to Karol Miller's 1956 specs. Should be fun as I haven't built a car for 8 years. I recently rebuilt the motor in my pickup...which of course sent me falling off the wagon and back into my greasy past.
