Midnight 50, if you don't mind, how long have you had the Pontiac? Have you done alot of the work yourself?? Thanks alot.

I've had it for 8 months. The previous owner did a lot of the body, which was good in this case because he welded everything instead of mud. I've done plenty since I got it, but more intricate details The major eyeballing stuff about the body was done previously. As it turns out he did exactly what I planned to do so it worked out that it saved me a little time and allowed me to get on other things. His role was primarily deleting the trim pieces, welding the hood into one piece, frenching headlights, but he also molded the rear bumper in and shortened the grill. I've done the mechanic work and started the interior resto, as well as done 20 or so repairs to the body like filling the rest of the rocker holes and replacing the pans.

Here's a head on shot of the front from a shoot we did. It looks pretty good, but I personally think it looks kind of bare so I am going to source another original front and use the wrap around trim on each side, but cut the middle out so I can use this grill.

Maybe some of this will give you some ideas on what you might start thinking of how to change the front of yours in other ways.

Wow Hutch, lucky find. And I agree with the majority. Spend one Saturday lowering it and then just drive it.

    You lucky bastage.

just keep it original if its all there..I didn't remove any trim. (thats what makes it cool) I lowered it 2" in the back. Might lower the front too but I like the look for now. Check it out:

Lower it and drive it. I remember how much fun mine was like that before it got the V8 auto treatment. Kinda miss it that way. Stay safe and thank you for your service.
