Hi. Came on board to pick up pointers and insight on my old jalopy tinkering. I seem to stay in the 49-54 year cars the past few years. I make a living hooking up folks with vintage tin. Usually through Hemmings, however, I do have a few old pots on a lot in Spokane. Today I'm driving a '50 Chev Deluxe. Nice car with cheap wrong color paint. In the shop is a '52 Merc Rat. Flatty with a Mercomatic. Had a broken piston when I got it. About all wrapped up, waiting for the rod bearings to come on the Brown Truck. Need to find some headers for it. Hopefully I can upgrade from the De-luxe in a week or so. Next up is a '54 Buick Roadmaster 2 door HT. All original, went through the brakes, the fuel delivery system, runs good, radiator leaks like a sieve. Found a donor this AM. There's a '60 Ford 1/2 ton short box calling to me....six banger three on the tree, patina'd puurfect.....Soon as my money tree gets over the case of blight it has, the 1/2 ton goes in the shop. Anyways. Good to be here, and seeya in da threads.
