i am new here and like what i see so far. i have a 1931 ford vicky and a 53 chev pu. the vicky is done in what you would call a "Billet Rod", but not what the billet guys like. it's pearl white with pearl purple tribal flames, big block chev, od auto, 8" rear, tci frt, c/o rear. leather interior. the 53 is bbq flat black, steelies, small block, 350 auto, camaro rear, mexican blanket seat cover, slammed. I have worked as a chevy line mechanic as well as at independent shops. i have had a modified car since i started driving at 15(40 years ago) I am friends with people in the poor boys here in sac and with people in other clubs in the cal. area. I have to agree with your stand on the AMBR trophy. they buy it now not win it. i like the traditional rods and some of the built to drive new cars. as long as their all safe!
