FNG type question - HAMB titles - hacked?

I have read through this forum a dozen times looking for a post that already addressed this issue, but I couldn't find it. So here it goes.

For a long time I have noticed some HAMBers have special HAMB****les. RF = Pop Star for instance. and Shifts name is red. Is this done by "hacking" the HAMB (for lack of a better term)? OR is this just Ryan having fun? I had always****umed it was RYAN but I got to thinking after all of these people started changing their names and such that maybe they did it themselves.

I tried to change my****le just to see, and I couldn't do anything. Of course I don't know my HTML from a hole in the ground so....

I don't want to change my****le, I just was wondering how this all works. Thanks.

Ohh and also, I noticed in the box just below the text entry box (to the right of the Insant Graemlins) the List, List Item, and List End functions......what the hell are those?

 

i have know idea either... but i always thought those were given out.

HACK is such a 80's term!!!

 

Rashy.....I mean like on the board BEFORE you click onto a topic. Shifts name is a DARK red, and it's the only one that shows up that way - different than even Ryans name.

Even attampting to Hack into the Admin would send up enough red flags to make your head spin,
