Hello all. I'm new here. Been reading the forums for a while, so I figured I might as well join. I've got a 52 Chevy Hardtop, and a 63 Buick LeSabre four door hardtop that I'm working on getting on the road. Hopefully it will be tagged and good to go within the next few weeks!

Hey Frank. I'm in DE. I just moved here about two years ago from about 20 minutes north of Philly. Frank, have you lowered your Electra? If so, how did you do the rear? I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to deal with the rear springs (I posted this question in the main section).
Wow, I'm actually just outside of Philly in Lower Bucks. Trevose to be exact. I've tried to keep all my mods period correct (re: cheap) lol. I heated the coils to get about a 3" drop in the rear and the front is stock hight. I know there are some guys here will tell you this is not the way to do coils but if you just heat about two to three coils in each spring till "cherry red" and allow to air cool you'll be fine. I've done many over the years and have drivin them thousands of miles with out failure. Also see if you can meet us for the HAMB Brunch on April 27th in Hatboro if you can. It's ok if you got to roll in the daily driver too. Frank
Haha! I lived in Lower Bucks pretty much my whole life. First Newtown, then Levittown, then Bensalem and then Langhorne, right near the Neshaminy mall! I wanted a bigger house, and that area was getting so damn expensive, so thats why we moved to DE. Were you at the Hot Rod HoeDown last year?
