Hello, I'm Joshua. I found this site through the NHRA site. Specifically Phill Burgess' 'Dragster Insider'. He had a link to the 'Drag cars in motion' thread and I have spent the last week going through all the pages of that thread as well as the 'cool pictures' thread. What a great site this is. I have been into drag racing since I was 14 ( I'm 61 now) when a neighbor of mine let me be his goffer/ tool washer on his B/G 55 Chevy. I was raised in South Carolina ( Charleston) and the local strip was 30 miles away in Walterboro at an abandoned air strip (unsanctioned). That hooked me for life on drag racing but my real love is riding motorcycles. All brands but especially Harleys. I own a 1976 H-D FLH/Sidecar. I purchased the bike in 1992 and added the sidecar in 2007. The old 74c.i. was replaced this year with a S&S Cycles 93 inch and the transmission was changed to a Sputhe 5 speed so it will get up and run with the big boys again.
