But not an FNK. I've been around the block a bit, I'm just new here. (I go back to IRC Chat for online stuff, and I'm active on six or eight Jeep-oriented boards...) I cut my teeth on F-bodies and Corvettes with my uncle, or model aircraft/ultralight or marine engines with my granddad - starting about 35 years ago. Then I got older, and got into AMCs. Now, I'm heavily into Jeeps (AMC-era and earlier, preferably. I'm not thoroughly impressed with the later Chrysler engines, the LA-block was just fine!) Getting as beat-up as I have, it's getting more difficult to work seriously on cars anymore - can't do it professionally, and it's a difficult hobby. Doesn't stop me from trying, tho! And, since I can't "do" so much anymore, I write about it (www.kelleyswip.com/books.html.) Why am I here? Information, primarily! I'd like to collect as many engine, transmission, and bellhousing blueprints as I can, to mix in with the weight and cube dimension data I've managed to collect so far, so I can integrate that into Swappology as I write it. (It's actually going to be three volumes, I think - one for AMC, one for IHC, and one for Jeep. Why? Because it hasn't been done yet, and I have the time. Do I need a better reason?) So, I'm probably going to ask questions and make a hairy nuisance of myself after a while, but I'm going to try to wear out the Search button first. However, if anyone wants to volunteer anything, I'm listening - I'm going to add H.A.M.B. to my daily rotation of sites so I can (hopefully) check in at least once a day... Jon D.
