Hot Rods Fond Memory......50 Olds from my youth

I always loved this car,had black tuck i had done in TJ for a couple hundred,a BM hydro,it was fast for its day. Found this pic from about 62 and thought id share it with ya.

yea but they are getting expensive or i would have another for a driver

 

cool 50 Olds sedan, know the feeling had two 50 Olds 88 coupes back then

i'd like to get mine running and driving soon

I had one about the same color .the year 1957. Still one of my favorites.

 

My Dad bought a '53 red and white 88 2 dr hardtop for my mother to drive in '60. We were going to the drive-in movie one evening when a '54 Ford pulled along side of us at a light. The '54 driver raced his engine a couple of times. When the light changed he took off. Dad floored the 88 and that was it. Those Olds were king in thier day.

had 2 50 olds one coupe and one sedan when i got my 50 chevy coupe i was looking for a olds coupe
