I googled straight six and got tired of looking at guys with more inches than me so I googled Hokey Ass in hopes of finding some pics that would make me feel more like a man and next thing you know I am here and I have not stopped since and I am glad to say the HAMB may have kept me from going blind but I have yet to find an eligible male except for spnkymcgee and dutchoven but they have let me into their little circle and made me feel like I can make someone other than myself feel pleasure and now it is just all so masculine that even my posts dont have periods

  5. Hemideuce (hi Keith) mentioned the sprint car thread was great. Sent a link. It is a great thread amongst many other great threads. Drag racing in motion, vintage stock cars, drag toons, etc. If I miss a few days I'm suddenly behind by a few pages. Man, you guys post fast and furious!

  7. I owe a debt to CheaterCarl for turning me on to the HAMB. I bought a Model A frame from the shop he worked at and his very traditional Model A roadster was parked outside. I lurked for about a year and then joined up!

I got hooked up with flamedabone. He told me about the site and I couldn't be more thankful. I tend to do more reading/research than posting. The site is amazing and the talent, knowledge and insight offered is incredible. Could you image a "Monster Garage" show with the talent on here. Keep up the good work, and I see it as my duty to pass this site onto everyone that has the disease.

I found the HAMB during some searching for tech to build my car, and I joined for the great info and the excellent artwork. I hope I can make my own helpful additions soon.

I've been lurking here for awhile, never really have much to add but pull lot's of great info away. Heard about this place in a dirty old body shop in Fond du LacLac and I don't plan on going away. I add my two cent's when I think it should be spent and keep it in my pocket when I don't.

  16. I've checked in from time to time over the years just to read the "stuff" that someone suggested to me, but I was never one to join groups. But after I became a member of "yblocksforever.com" I found myself being sent over here more and more. Then it hit me, "I've found what has been missing in my life" A bunch of loosers glued to their computers. LOL Ha Ha Ha! seriously it's a lot of fun.

  17. I kept noticing the H.A.M.B. decals on the cool cars...at the cool shows...
Alright , I guess this is the best place to ask...excuse me if I missed it someplace else...How does the rating / title system work, and what does FNG stand for?
    Thanks for the education....

I lurked here for quite a while before joining-usually not one much for joining or posting. I found a link to 'Drag Cars in Motion' thread probably from Ford FE. I am soooo hooked -so much cool stuff and knowledge. Thanks to all my fellow HAMBers.

I stumbled across this board looking for information on how to rebuild Holly 94 carburetors. Then I found a lot of information of flatheads so now it is the first place I search for information. The Holly 94 thread was great. With the information on it I was able to change my ride from hard starting to always starts. So now I am not worried when I take it out on a cruise.

  22. I found the H.A.M.B. site from many different search engine results over the last 5-6 years. I finally joined because I enjoy the information. I like the fact that you can be building anything old and unique and you will find somebody on this site who can give advice based on actual experience. I was born a hotrodder and I will die as one...therefore chances are good I will be staying around until my hotrodding days are over!

  23. I also joined because I enjoy hearing who will not be attending VIVA! haha!

I send a SHITLOAD of people here! Usually I find 'em on Craigslist or online trying to sell parts to the wrong audience to get cash for their project. ˆ send 'em here and they end up trading for that part, or selling that car in just a few days! Then they like it so much they stick around!

I like the HAMB because it's an encyclopedia, and a hot rod mag, and a community, all rolled into one. Imagine asking an encyclopedia a question about an article or better pictures and getting an answer in an hour!

  26. I googled "Ass Massage" one lonely afternoon, but misspelled it "message", and the HAMB popped up first. :)

    g'day Krooser
dont recall exactly how l found the hamb but for me it was like finding the holy grail. I joined up straight away and lm sure l posted some crap in my excitement. Anyway, l have an A coupe project which is just starting out so l will be spending a lot of time lurking and learning from the masters who are willing to share their knowledge and time posting info .

I learned about the HAMB through a guy at work. He was an old timer and traditional hot rodder at heart. He knew I was interested and told me about the site. He said it was a good place to learn, and he was right.
