So yeah, the newest Hot Rod mag (July 04) caught me way off guard. On pages 80 - 92 there's an article called "The Last Real HotRod Shop" which is, of course, the Vern Tardel hot rod shop. (It's written and photographed by Pat Ganahl for all you Ganahl fans as well.) It's loaded with goodies and other stuff worth checkin out. Lots 'o pics to drool over. Now, I don't remember if anyone else posted this or not so sorry if someone did, but I think it's worth your while to check it out.

I have read Hot Rod off and on for many years and this new format is little odd. It reminds me of Maxim or one of the other eye candy mags. I for one did not like the format, too busy, a lot more 'non car ads'. I have yet to read this months to see if the content has also changed. Later, papa al
